AAAARGH! So, anyway, I've been trying to find some decent, affordable powered monitors here in Denvoid, Colorado.... The result? Of the types I've narrowed my search to according to reviews, and recommendations on this forum, well, there are a few Mackies out there, which aren't what I consider affordable (...yet!..) and LOTS of Alesis, which I'm inclined to think don't fit my "decent" requirement. So, to make a long story short, I need to know if ANYONE is aware of a dealer in this fine area who has a selection of the sort of thing I'm looking for. Particularly, Event PS series or 20/20s, and Yorkville YSM-1s. In the same store. The idea being to compare them in the store if possible. Hell, I can take a day off and travel if necessary. I realize this is a long shot, but I'm hoping somebody can help. (Otherwise, it seems my only option is to buy something sight unseen, or, er, sound unheard.) (Although almost anything would be an improvement over my current setup.)
