Decent Mic Pre for under 1000$

Who cares about tubes or price or sound, for that matter... I want lights, lotsa little lights that blink and twinkle.

RNMP was due out last May, then September, then October. I expect its been a big joke at this point.

Latest word is that it's due to come out early December,
and that should be a RELIABLE date per Fletcher at Mercenary
Audio. You can get one then at www.mercenary.com
 
Chessparov, where did you read that?
I read a while ago that a 4 preamp model was gonna be released first, before the single preamp model...Is that right???

db51, I'm not sure how many channels this one will have, however, on www.prosoundweb (Fletcher's forum-the thread is about compression) you can read what info we have so far.
Fletcher guesstimated approx. $400 per channel, and I' not sure if that will be list price or street. They haven't released a definite price yet.
