Decent lower-wattage stereo power amp?

I'm looking to get a decent stereo power amp where my primary concern is tone not volume... does anyone have any suggestions or recommendations? I have eyed the Mesa 20/20 , and would like to know what some other similar options are... I'm definitely don't need anything more than 30watts or so per channel.
