What the hell are you smokin "buddy". I thought message boards were for posting your oppinions. Or am I wrong? At least in my post I wasn't intending on offending anyone, and I was hoping to spark some oppinions and replys that would alter my point of view, and maybe how and why clean stuff may be more or less difficult to record than the heavy stuff. I was merely blowing off some steam on my frustrations at teaching myself to record, if you took offense at that, then you, my friend, are the one who has a problem. Maybe if I sound egotistical, it is because I have gotten this far with my recording quality by starving to buy gear, staying up all night some nights mixing, tracking, and teaching myself VST software. So hell yeah I am proud of my accomplishments, and I feel I am getting close to figuring some of these engineering tricks out. And why? Because as many of you stated in a remembered thread here, merely to preserve my music in history. So I read a reply like this and I am offended, because sadly, it is you who is close minded. Maybe I enjoy a good debate over an interesting topic such as recording different styles of music. Maybe you should check out my other threads on here before you judge me, as I have always expressed my appreciation for this site and its members. And for placing judgement on me, you can respectfully kiss my ass.
