I tried that Deathmetal Distortion, it was okay but it was WAY too distorted, there seemed to be no middle between low distortion and completly non-audible guitar shredz.

Alos tried the DS-1 distortion, okay, more of a crunchy sound then distorted.

Grunge was by far the best mix of distortion.

South burb of Chicago. Near Park Forest, Homewood,Tinley Park, Chicago Heights.

Go Cubs!!!!!!

....Mortician was in town like 3 years ago, well aurora, they ruled! Except for the damn sound guy that kept playing the wrong sound clips, bastard messed it up.

anyone try that black coffee or black licorce pedals from danelctro? ive played the fab tone and it rocks. those black ones are sopoused to be metal targeted, who knows though

freak

i've been told by probably 4 or 5 people to stay away from the little plastic danelectro pedals............not only are they very little and very plastic, they're supposed to sound like absolute crap........that's just heresay though, since i haven't used one.

Make sure you try out the Boss MT-2, and post your thoughts.

There is a "double" or knob within a knob for mid controls, if you want that scooped-mid-filth, this is very useful and effective.
Combining this with its' ample level of distortion, it has always been as raunchy as I've needed (actually, I usually cut back 25%-50% on the distorition for recording).

cut mine back too....

i have mine cut back it's kinda underused but it has serious crunch ...i roll off the distortion and slightly less than half on the level ....the mid pot in a pot is what sold me very adjustable the bass and treble are th same way

Ahh, yes. Thank you for clarifying my terminology! I was involved in an outdoor project at the time, and couldn't find the right words.
