de-tuner plug-in?

I'm looking for a plug-in, or a program that would include an effect that de-tunes audio data. In this case, I'm not looking to "get bad vocals into the right key". I'm actually looking for the opposite, looking for a spooky kind of de-tuner effect to do some experimenting with on a project.

Anyone know of any directx plug-ins that are capable of something like this? I've tried Antares Auto Tune but haven't really liked the results.

There is one such thing in Cool Edit Pro (Adobe Audition) you can draw a graph and it detunes accordingly. Hope that helps.

If you don't like Antares AutoTune, you will not like anything else.
AutoTune is the berst. Did you use it in Graphic Mode?

I had the chance to work with Melodyne ---- WOW !

I admit that i am more comfortable with melodyne for editing.
Sure Autotune is as powerful as Melodyn but for editing (in my opinion) i found Melodyne more intuitive.

...But it is a stand alone program.

BTW Moskus i bought Soundforge and CD Architect and dropped Wavelab !!!

I really like the plugin chain in SF - wow !

No, it's not. Not in Melodyne 2. It supports VST and ReWire! :)

Melodyne is excellent, but it costs an arm and a leg. I'm hoping my loving wife will give purchase it for chrismas, but still....

And yes, the Chainer is brilliant! :D
