I read the threads from a search; they are a few months old. I was wondering if anyone has tried this unit.

The thread seemed to say it was aimed at beginners for simplicity. That’s what I like most about it.

I have one sitting here that I bought today from G.C. They have a 30 return policy so I'm not stuck with it if I change my mind.

They also have a price guarantee. The price I'm paying is $299. Does anyone know where I can get one cheaper?

I did read that when I did the search, but thanks just the same. In all the threads on the search no one seemed to really have any opinions that had actually owned one.

From a beginners standpoint and the fact that I have to purchase some sort of preamp anyway it seems like a relatively smart move. Its ability to use presets with just the right amount of compression etc. will probably make better choices than I would.
