I understand a bit about each step, but I don't know what an effective and/or typical recording-process-sequence IS.
Using the process-titles (track recording, eq, compression, normalization, mixdown, effects, etc.), how do YOU effectively structure your sessions?
For example: do you compress during each track AND after mixdown?
WHERE in-the-sequence do you use normalization? ETC.
Simple sequence-step answers will be fine if you do not want to elaborate:
e.g., "record, then eq track, then compress....", etc.
Thank You
