Wow!!! I was wondering how this was going to take shape. This is very pretty. Very beautiful interaction amongst all parts. It has a great vibe to it. Each piece seems to carry it's own emotion and feeling, and splices together very well. Nice flow to it.
Most excellent guys!!!!

Nice piece...very enchanting. Stirs my imagination.

I would like to be in a hall listening to this live!!

Beatifull tune, great playing both of you, I could do with out the samples though.
I like the feel of the guitar and the violin together, the samples sound very cut and paste to me.

But great playing, and a great recording :)

Thanks for listening folks.

Yeah. I love the samples myself but I see what you mean. I think that might be solved with a slightly different orchestration and a LOT better mixing, which is coming up. Maybe not :D

There is very little improvising in this piece. Tim and I have discussed doing our thang vs. playing it straight, this is the playing it straight version. The samples are note for note from the score. Almost ;)

The main problem ( for me) with this version: it doesnt know if its a new age piece or a classical piece. It is a LOT harder than I thought to mix the two genres together. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt :(

Very interesting mix of genres...they actually fit very well. It has an emotional hook that would probably go well in a movie track. Nice work!

I think it would fuction very well as a Timeline thing for a video.
You know like peacefull times in the old days horse and carriage, and then when the samples come in it could be from a big city with all the gadgets and ingenuity we have now.
I think this would make and exelent movie\film score.

I should say that the Samples sounds pretty good, I just felt it was a step down from the the Real feeling I got from the violin and the guitar.

Anyway its a great reflective piece, and I hope you guys keep em comming. :)

This is an excellent piece. I like the different parts within - the interplay between a variety of instruments throughout - always changing, invoking different images in my mind... I especially like when it builds up with all the instruments at the same time - very powerful and emotional.
I think the violin, guitar and samples go well together....more contemporary than traditional.
Really enjoyed this.......
