Just cut the shit outta my middle finger on my left hand .... fairly deep cut right across the tip where a string will go right into the cut and pull it open!

I have a full slate of gigs this weekend Thurs, Fri. and 2 on Sat. and 2 on Sun.

Shit ....... I'm gonna have to play with a bandage on the tip of that finger!

That sucks! Try liquid bandage. And keep the little bottle in your pocket all weekend for touchups!

Have you ever tried that?
 
I can say super glue works. I found I could play a 50 minute set on each liberal application.
 
Just remember to let it dry completely before touching your guitar!!!! DOH!!

Or another finger. I glued a couple together once. Dumbass. Take a small bottle of nail polish remover with you to gig, just in case. :D

pretty deep ..... almost deep enough for a stitch but not quite.but it's sealed itself now so it'll mainly be to protect it from a string tearing it open and maybe keep it from direct contact with the string.
 
I used to repair power tools years ago. Table saws, jointer-planers and the like. At 4:45 p.m. friday, just before closing, a guy brings in a jointer with a problem. I ended up cutting the tips of three fingers on my left hand and having to play a gig that night with each finger wrapped in three bandaids, two over and one wrapped around to secure. I went through a whole box of bandaids that night. I left that job shortly after out of fear of cutting my fingers off in some spinning blade. Not my greatest moment.

That sucks big time. I'd say just play slide all night.

At least you know what to take for the pain. ;)
 
You're always up for a challenge, just look at it as a challenge to not use that finger.

I did this in the not too distant past,3rd finger, and used a butterfly and superglue to make it thru my gigs.
At least your wang was spared the cut.
