DA-88 Question

Is there a way to reset the counters on a DA-88 without actually doing the work?

I'm just curious. I found one in a used music goods shop, and using the hidden functions, it reads that it's only been used for 1 hour (recording/playback)

Is this even conceivable? It's in good shape, but obviously not new.
