d-80! help!

if anyone out there has a soft copy of the manual, PLEASE reply to this....i checked the web site, and sent an email to tech support and got no reply.
is it possible to sync the d 80 to my computer? i have all the proper midi cables and such.... how is it done? it is very frustrating not having the manual.....thanks in advance

I have a D-90 and they're very similar. You must set your d-80 to slave mode, then record a track on your computer a little longer than the song you'll be recording. The D-80 should just 'chase' the computer. Oh yeah, you might need to link it digitally also using the S/PDIF out on the fostex and the digital in on your soundcard. What no digital in? Sorry then, I don't know what to tell you.
