What did you expect?

seriously. you're better off buying cracked cymbals off eBay for the price. that's what i convinced one of my friends to do, and they sound way better than any bargain cymbals, even if they are cracked and not 100% great. i think he got like a 16" Zildjian A Thin Crash with a decent crack in the edge for like $20, and it actually still sounds good, if not a little strange.

They sound much better with these on:

if you hurl one like a frisbee, they seem to fly forever...

why do you think UFO's are shaped the same way? ;)

I disagree, Stagg DH are pretty nice for the price.

I bought a Stagg BH, and I like it - some of my mates disagree, but fuck 'em.

ZBT's still aren't as bad as those fucking jerk-off titanium series bullshit motherfuckers they were trying to pass off for a short time. I had a band call one day and I always asked them about their gear. Well it was the drummer I was talking to and he's telling me he's got badass custom cymbals, blah blah blah. Yeah they were those stupid fucking piece of shit titaniums, I begged him to use my A's and he caved eventually. I make almost every band use my cracked new beat hihats, because the alternative is usually ZBT's or something equivalent.

I was at a gig and the drummer had a nice set of cymbals, Zildjians, Sabians, etc(couldn't tell you what kind, but probs As etc), but to me the Stagg really stood out. It was very impressive. I've got a full set of DH. I like everything but the hihats and ride. I bought too small i think... 12" hats, and 19" crash/ride, trying to save a bit of money, even though they're cheap anyway, i was pretty skint.

as soon as i can get rid of them im going to get the sabian b8...i've heard them and i like them yeah they are budget but they sound good

my uncle got some B8's for his practice kit in the garage, i remember i liked the hi-hats on em, they were not that bad at all. i dont remember liking the crashes too much, but i don't think they were horrible or else i really woulda remembered em, haha.

b8s are an improvement but for all the trouble you are going through might not be much of an improvement really suggest you try used not only will it cost about the same but you will have alot more options than the limited type of cymbols the b8 line offers but if you like the b8 the ride and hats arent too bad but i would definetly avoid the crashes

why would you even buy ZBT's?? That is a "begineer" cymbal. A custom is the way to go.
