I have Sonic Foundry added onto CWPA 9 and I'm wondering how to change an effect after it is added? To tweak the settings or to see what settings I used. Seems like it should be easy enough, but it's not :(

What do you mean by "adding Sonic Foundry into CWPA 9" ?
If you mean Sonic Foundry DirectX plugins, then just double click it to open the setting window.
If you mean add SoundForge in Tools menu, then you can edit selected wave block within track on SoundForge and returning the result back to Cakewalk. (automatic export --> edit -->import processing).

I'm pretty sure I just have the Direct X plugins, after I double click the track, it brings up the track alone - then if I right click to get a list of effects and go back down to "reverb" the type is reset. I guess i'm still confused; does what I said make sense? I'm not very familiar with this software as I am just starting

Thanks

By double clicking on the waveform, you are actually opening a copy of the wave in Sound Forge. This will only allow you to do "destructive" edits, which can not be tweaked or changed later on.

It sounds like you simply want to use some of Sound Forge's FX in PA9. They should appear in the list of FX available to you. There is no need to actually "open" Sound Forge.

My memory on how to do things in PA9 is a little blurry. I believe if you right click on the black FX box in Console View you should be able to choose your effects. The SF effects should be there along with the Cakewalk FX.

Add them this way, and then you can tweak them in real time.

That's what I was looking for :)

Thanks!
