cwb files > 2GB?

Sonar .cwb vs .cwp

This thread is interesting!

I'm using Sonar 4 for my project. The project itself is meant to be a 60 minutes song without any break into it. Now I have about 10 minutes recorded (48/24) save in .cwb wich now weight around 300mb.

According to this thread, it's possible I encounter as bigger as it gets, some size problems? Also my project will be in 5.1 surround, wich I guess will boost the size even bigger...

Does anyone have any advices or procedures I should follow to avoid having problems closer I get to the end?

And should I start to save as .cwp instead from now on?

Yes. At least with cwp you won't run into a size problem unless one of the underlying wave files reaches 2 gb.
 
Wow...how weird is this...I had the same error message pop up at me yesterday while working on an old project. For the life of me, I couldn't figure it out...stuff happened and I lost interest. Today I discovered this thread...now I'm all fired up to whip this problem again.
