customizing key commands

is there a way to add your own key commands to pro tools 8?

i used to be able to do it in cubase and would like to customize them in pro tools to make things quicker

No you can only use the default ones.

I personally think it's good as it means that when you go to other studios the key commands are still the same.

I do know that it's a common request though - I guess some people want it, and others don't. Hopefully they'll implement it as a preference, so it's quite easy to switch back to the default profile.
