im having this little problem with cubase sx, and i cant figure it out. Everytime I open up something(mixer, vsts) The whole window where i have my session set up keeps minimizing. Is it possible to freeze this window so it wont keep on minimizing when im doing something?

Strange case...when does it start minimizing? I mean after u click on something or just automatically?

I have se and it does the same thing.....real pain in the ass.

yeah, i know its very strange and real annoying. lol. Yes, right after i open up something(transport panel, mixer).... it minimizes, for some reason. I have been trying to figure this out for awhile now. no luck. looked in the manual but cant find anything that relates to this problem.

When you open up the arrange window, don't maximize it, just restore it, and then adjust the size to how you want it. Then, you can go ahead and maximize the window. When you need to switch to another window, then it should just go back down to the restored version, as opposed to the completely minimized version.

If you need me to explain it better, just ask, because I know it was kind of awkward.

I've got the same problem... arrrrrrrr.

Tourettes... you nailed it. Thanks.

yeah thats what i have been doing so far, "maximazing" the minimized window. What i wanted to do is just keep it maximized, so the window keep getting smaller(even though its big already).

Just restore it, resize it so that it is just about as big as it would be when it would be maximized, and don't even maximize it. Then it won't change at all.
