I am trying to figure out how to set p my outputs correctly. When I use the unit at 44khz the 1/8 outputs work, but I guees they get turned off when you go up in sampling rate.

how do I configure a stereo output on there with the higher sample rates. I cannot figure out how to get any sound at all when I change from 44khz.

It may be you can't do what you are trying:
ADAT:
-8 channels, 24-bit @ 44.1/48kHz
-4 channels, 24-bit @ 96kHz (S-MUX compatible)
-2 channels, 24-bit @ 192kHz

Your manual should tell you the optional configuration setups.

when it says 2 channels that just means simultaneous correct?

I am just wondering. I am a newb and get confused.

Are you using ASIO or WDM? The manual says this about WDM “When running PatchMix at 88.2kHz, 96kHz, 176.4kHz or 192kHz, WDM record or
playback audio content must be running at the same sample rate as PatchMix. If the
sample rates are mismatched, NO AUDIO will be produced or recorded. In other words,
the WDM driver does not perform sample rate conversion of any kind when PatchMix is
running at 88.2kHz, 96kHz, 176.4kHz or 192kHz.”

also have you tried loading a session with 192 sample rate. yea your ins and outs will be reduced with the higher rates.

You might be getting tracks and channels mixed up. Usually you're talking about recording tracks when referring to "simultaneously". You can always go back and add more tracks to a project. Your software will limit the channels to your recording according to the manufacturers specs:
-8 channels, 24-bit @ 44.1/48kHz
-4 channels, 24-bit @ 96kHz (S-MUX compatible)
-2 channels, 24-bit @ 192kHz

Hope that helps.
