what is this?
Okay, before I go screw something up on my pc, I gotta get this figured out. I was going through some of the plugin folders and I came across a file folder with the label of "jre". I did some digging in the txt files and it mentions "Java Runtime Environment". What the hell? Is this actually part of Cubase or just some crap that ended up in the wrong place? I don't want to delete it yet, but it's annoying as all hell to have it there when I don't know what it is...

Any help with this is greatly appreciated!!

Theres a good chance that it would use java, yes.

But why are you so hesitant to delete it? If it's there, theres probably a reason it's there (along with all other system files)

But why would it be in the plugins folder? Would there be any chance that could somehow happen during defrag?

And while we're on the subject, what is Java, I thought it was internet related.
