holy crap...okay this is the last one I NEVER SAID "DO UNTO OTHERS". I never said "YOU STEAL". You said there was, philosophically (because you are the philosophy master and I am the little grasshopper) no right or wrong. That is what you said, that is the point I was working off of.

However, once again you make my point. You say that no one should steal from you because you don't steal from people. So what if every programmer at Steinberg was a person who didn't steal. An honest worker like me who works day to day and isn't living the high life, but is making an honest living and doing what they love. Then no one should steal from them according to your own credo. If you don't want people stealing from you, you shouldn't try to rationalize other people stealing from anyone.

If you'd take the time to read before making these stupid ass posts..you would have learned..if your capable of doing that...that illegal/pirated software is not tollerated ..so i suggest YOU take your questions about illegal software somewhere else..this is our home way long before it was yours..and YOU have turned it into a soapbox by breaking one of the only few rules that we have in this place!

Why don't you take your ass to some other site that does tolerate thieves then? We don't care for it much here and you won't get much help as a thief, or a thief sympathizer. My reply was helpful....helpful to all the honest people who worked hard to create the program, and worked hard to buy the program. You don't like it? Go somewhere else.

I can prove to you that in spite of my age, I am not really a young person, or shall I say, I really dont fit into my generation, and that I know what right and wrong is, and that in a philosopical sense, there really isnt no right or wrong. Simply put, wrong is a company putting software out on there market that is easily hackable when in fact, it is totally possible (to my knowledge of programming) to make a program not hackable. Do you really think they dont want to totally get rid of hacking? just like any other crime, our law enforcement feeds crime, they dont want to stop crime! why you ask? its right in your fuckin face fool! if they stoped crime then that would cut jobs seeing as why would we need cops to stop crime that isnt happening? If "you" have an open mind about what im saying, you can try and understand or at least look at one particular subject in more than one way, or just under a different light in the sense that I can view a subject on both negative and positive, and come up with facts on how i support both sides of any given subject. Im no nazi, but thanks to hitler for the many good things he provided.
See what you dont realize about my generation is that, what you said is true, but there are fewer and fewer exceptions as we progress through each generation. I'm just curious to why you guys think the card is so bad. What do you mean by 'components'? I'm not recording audio through my SoundBlaster X-Fi, it's just my playback.Plus it's ASIO drivers aren't half bad either.

Now I'm just looking into a pre-amp to record through.

I usually find that anything recorded with a soundblaster sounds like there is a blanket over the speakers. It's the lack of sonic quality people around here don't like. Latency is also another issue that I had with mine and I'm guessing that many others have had the same problem with theirs. I don't know about the newer models though, it may have gotten better and maybe a couple of pigs learned how to fly.

Interfaces you may want to look at would be the Presonus FireBox, MAudio Delta 4040, MAudio AudioBuddy, MAudio Mobile Pre, Emu 0404. I'm sure there are others and you should ask around about these. I have never used any of them so I couldn't tell you what to get or what to expect, I'm just trying to offer some actual help in this thread.

Though I should say, that if you can't really hear the difference or don't mind the latency, it may be more than you really need. If the sound blaster has been working for you lately, great. Your initial setup is now done.

yeah, theres a difference in seeing what I say, and understanding it. I have bigger things to worry about in the world than illegal software usage!! like for instance, religion, mcdonalds, wal-mart, global warming (hand in hand with macdonalds) george bush, christian conservatism (same thing as fascism and racism), tv and mind control, popular music (r&b, country, rap) embedded with mind control and secret advertisements, war, the fact that our countrys 7 trillion$ debt can give every person in this country $23,000 a piece (i think thats what the amount was), i mean seriously, instead of war, the money put into war could be spent on getting rid of war devices so there would hopefully be peace (we're to stupid?mmmm, yes.....). cant think of anything else right now

I was trying to say that inspite(sp?) of the bad things, there was a good side to it all. Thats all. Can you honestly tell why its scary im still walking the streets? Because I am a fuckin history fanatic that questions things looking as if they need questioning? And that I can tell you all sorts of things based on experience and knowledge from fact, that you would never believe because of strongly enforced myths? Example one is the fact that satanism actually causes less problems to this world than christianity, except for the fact that half the problems caused from christians is because of satanism? And that they have always thought of the jews as to be lucifer? And hitler believed the same thing. And that christian conservatism is nasty due to the fact they take things worse than need be, and that a rich family in the government is of this conservatism investing into Hitlers belief, and then bamm, all of a sudden 6 million jews are dead? You can call me crazy if you dont believe me, then you might as well call every single person on this planet crazy, because odviously this has been looked at for a long time.
