can you tell me how to do a loop recording in cubase.

questin 2:can you tell me how to record with the metronome on

Please expand on what you mean by a loop recording, I don't really understand. You can record in loop mode, you can record a track and then loop it but a loop recording, hmmm not sure.

The metronome deal is pretty easy. Just go into the options tab, go down to metronome and check the click enable box. Here you can also set what type of metronome you want, how loud, etc.

Oh and welcome to the board and be sure and check out the CUBASE FORUM and other specific boards for specific questions, you'll get more answers that way (and from far more knowledgable dudes/dudettes than I).

when I say loop recording I mean. ok first I recording the drums 4 measures and while that is looping I add piano for 4 measure and while that is looping i add rhodes and so on.
-thanks-

use copy&paste

edit until you have the 4 measures of drums that you want....copy them....and paste them to the end of the 4 measures...repeat until you have the # of 'loops' that you want to record piano over....

ANOTHER WAY:

one way that I do it is actually to create the loop in soundforge and then import into a track in cubase...soundforge has a good 'create loop' function which will allow you to export a wav of a piece looped as many times as you want....

hope that helps!!
