Hi, I reinstalled XP, cause my EMU 0404 wasn't very stable under windows 7.
Now i'm having strange problems with midi.
I have selected my 0404 asio driver in cubase, and latency for both input and output is around 8ms.
When I first start recording midi, the notes appear as I play them and they are also in time with the metronome. However, as the recording session continues on, there is a midi recording lag which seems to get progressively worse. The only way I can stop this is if I save and restart cubase 5.
This lag has been at its worst at a length of nearly a full bar at around 80 bmp, this clearly is not on!
Anyone have any idea why this is happening, or have a solution to the problem?
My VST instruments during the recording lag still respond to my keyboard input with a very low latency. So it is almost like a cubase processing lag while recording. I mean, I can *hear* I am recording in time with the metronome, and I can see the metronome clicking in time with the background timebase grid - it's very strange and debilitating indeed.
