I have just purchased a new dedicated audio workstation and want to install Cubase5, Sound Forge5, Cool Edit and Acid Pro3 on it. However my supplier tells me that Acid uses DirectX 7 and this will adversely affect Cubase therefore I cannot install it under warranty. Anyone else heard of this problem?

if you install CuBase VST32, and WAVELAB, I can't imagine what you would need the other software for.

I've never heard of the problem, nor do I have a problem with ACID 3.0 & Cubase32. email the folks at Steinberg & Sonic Foundry. Both have good customer service.
