I may be able to borrow & install cubase 5 on my computer. However, If I am not able to keep the original software used to install it, is there way to create a back-up off of what I install. In case something goes wrong down the road with my computer?

Cubase will not run without the hardware key (dongle), which presumably you will give back when you return Cubase. So a backup doesn't matter.

CRISB seems to be a serial software "borrower." Similar messages on the Cakewalk (Sonar XL) and Sonic Foundry (Acid Pro 3.0) forums.

Tsk tsk tsk (as another member mentioned on a different forum).

Peace.

Help a friend

Hard to sift through the snobs Crisb, get in touch with me and ill sort u out mate, after all isnt that wht this place is suppose to be about.

This isn't about "snobs," dude. It's about stealing software that most of us have laid down real cash for. If CRISB had a question about using ACID Pro, Cubase, or Sonar, he'd get plenty of responses with useful information. Asking how to steal is something different, eh?

By the way, Halstatt, Austria is breathtaking. I spent a couple of days there a while back, and the setting is just beautiful. Nice tour of the salt mines nearby, too.

Peace.

pirating hardware designs and offerring them to strangers is a good way to get busted...last time I checked, austria is not that far away from germany.
