Hey guys,
I'm not sure whether this is the right place to put my question, but I'm probably going to record some of my songs soon and I have this idea for how the bass is supposed to sound in one of the tracks.
I want it to be nearly (or just) as powerful and sort of "punching" as the bass you can hear over here: YouTube - Benefit Of Mr.Kite/I Want You(She's So Heavy)/Helter Skelter (skip to 1:49 to hear it)
Any ideas what's the trick used there? Distortion, overdrive, reverb, overdubbing during recording, whatever strange techniques I have never heard of?
