I see deaf people
slit the goats throat on the 40th bar and there should be a demon present by the end of the track

Awww yeah.... 20 seconds into this one, and I can tell it's gonna be love.

Yup... Goodness all around. Love the vibe.. Love the bass... Don't really love the snare incarnation.... The snare sound needs to be crisper, and higher in the register, in my opinion...

But yeah.. There's so much good about this song. You definitely nailed it, Keith.

One of these days I'm gonna get you some real drum tracks you can loop through for FX. Maybe. When my kids are grown, and I can actually sleep again. :laughings:

Thanks for sharing, dude... I think this one is going on the media player.

How much do I owe ya?

I didnt think you'd like this too much..Im really happy now dude

its a bit sloppy in a couple of parts listening back, Ill fix them tomorrow...did you like my stellar guitar work? lol

I actually sang in two verses but it was like Vincent Price...except really depressed so they were dumped :D

please any time you want to send drums we'll do something with them, I go back and revisit that snare...theres three in there at different points but ones a clap...Ill crispen it up, it should cut right through and it isnt..good ears PI

I downloaded the two Lucifer Rising soundtracks a week or so ago: Page's & the other. Everyone Loves Alister: the new sitcom on the Cabal network.
Crowley & Oswald - the Good Guys eh?
How about something with Enoch Powel? He could be it for a rewrite of Ebenezer Goode. Oh dear, I just had the theme of Love THy Neighbour flash through my brain tagged by the appalling tag line too!
I digress, yet again you have my rigid rock brain listening to an entire dance track! BOTTOM!
Oh, I do love psych - that may be the entry point!
there were points along the way that reminded me of the better moments of Jeff Wayne's War of the Worlds.

:laughings:

great post Ray...thanks buddy, theres a few dark characters in the UKs past...maybe Ill do a compilation

thanks for listening all the way through ;)

This is absolutely the best thing I've heard you do. I'm saving this if you dont mind.

What interface do you use? The converters sound good.

seriously?

I really thought this might be a bit of a mess...sounds like the new monitors are paying off :o of course save it...you can have a 320kbps version if you want if you cant save it of that

I use old technology...its an M audio quattro and M audio Omni interface (which is my mixer as well) they are the DMP2 pre-amps I think...you can pick these up for next to nothing...their stability is a bit wild, they take a bit of settling in, but i love them...really crystal clear...

Wow....just wow.....
this is simply awesome and totally pro-sounding.

PS: I ate the goat and downed it with a 7 year old Barolo.........:D
666 and a half.....the (little) brother of the Beast

...where'd I put that holy water?.....ok, that's better...oops that was my work computer! Hey this was....well...I didn't think music like this was possible.....one hears such music and one thinks "kcearl.";)
I liked that Vincent Price sounding vocal thing in the middle, it was kinda like "no windows and no doors...haha..." Haunted House?....Disneyland?....CA?....anyway.
What's it called when you make ur keyboard sound like a skipping record (wucca, wucca, wucca), but it's in-time with the beat? I like that. I wish I knew how to do that. Seriously, I'm clueless with my keys.

:drunk:
Keep on rocking in a rave kinda way!

the weirdest of coincidences...I just dropped a sample on this from an EP called Happy Monsters that goes "the doors are where the windows should be, the windows are where the doors should be"!

I worry for your safety my friend, I will send you the strongest of protection immediately! :)

forgot maximusbs if I can ever help with any synth stuff just drop me a PM...the "wucca wucca" bit I guess is the gated arp, or a trance gate as its sometimes called, theres a few ways of achieving the effect :)

Gated! That's the term I was looking for! I'll pour through my Cakewalk and other free synth junk to see if I can find "Gated....hootinany..." patch, I'll let you know if I find anything cool....I doubt I will. :D

Nice work Keith. Very professional sounding, the mix sounds great, everything sounds so clean and clear, soundtrack material as is. Perfect time of year for this...the spooks come out. Listening on headphones and it had me checking over my shoulder a couple of times.

You didn't go and sell your soul for those new monitors did ya?

i wouldnt get much for $18.50 mate lol

this ones heading for number 4 ;)

thanks for listening Doobs....I listened to that acapella, you've got your work cut out

Pretty good. Again, about 3 minutes too long, but it kept my interest for the most part. The mix sounded good to me. You know I don't know what I'm listening for, so I just listen and it sounded about like I'd expect a song like this should sound, which is a good thing. No bad surprises or anything.

I don't know if I ever told you this, but I used to hang out in techno clubs in the early 90's. I hated the music, but the chicks........:)
