crossfire cards in a recording pc

Hey I want to put at least one ati crossfire card in a mobo now and might buy the second later on. Are there any issues with using an interface and and this dual card setup. I will be using pci. But do you think it will hog the pci busses?
 
No it should be fine. PCI busses are made to handle significant amounts of information without maxing out or crashing.

Well, yes, but PCIe is point-to-point anyway. There's no harm in saturating a PCIe bus.

What I'd be worried about is it hogging your HyperTransport (or whatever) interconnects between the PCIe controller and the rest of your northbridge. Unless it's using HT 3.0, I -think- you're running right up near the limits with a single x16 slot. With two, you'd better hope the people who designed your northbridge knew what they were doing....
