I'm listening on headphones so I don't know really, but the beat seems a little quiet. The vocals sound well-mixed during the hook but maybe a little too much delay on the verse. The last hook comes in a little weird too cuz he says something on the verse track, but it sounds like it needs to be trimmed off or nudged to be a little before the hook. The song sucked hard though, sorry but I wasn't feeling it at all. Good quick mix though.

i think the pad/music/ whatever that is is just too low, maybe strengthen that up a bit so its closer to the voice.
vocals are mixed alright though, not bad dude.

I am in love with the waves ssl plugins so in my pro tools rig I set up a baby ssl console. I have the ssl e-channel setup on my aux busses and the buss comp on my master buss along with the waves de-esser on the lead and background vocal tracks. I found that on all cheap condenser mics running a low pass filter really works wonders on the vocals (as well as rolling off with a high pass filter). It's my BIG mixing secret to really great sounding vocals. i myself have a studio projects c1 and my vocals are very sibilant and so I must use a de-esser but sometimes i used to over do it with the de-esser and i would ruin that perfect take with over processing. For the longest time i was using 3 de-essers to tame my overly sibilant vocals but still wasn't satisfied until... I had a dream about using the low pass filter to get rid of some of the high end (not all just some) and wala!!!
Its very simple actually, see on the channel strip what I do is take the high and low pass filter and turn them both all the way to there extreme settings (one at a time of course). So first i'll take the high pass filter and cut all the low end out of the vocal (mute the music). Then i'll slowly turn the knob back towards its counter clockwise position until the vocal sounds full again (notice how when that point comes your not all the way back towards the 0 start point). Then I do the same for the low pass filter until the essing is either gone or way more un-noticeable than when you start. next because of how i record and the music i mix (rap hip hop and r&b) i compress pretty heavy getting anywhere from -6db to -14db (on some tracks not all!!!). My threshold is -12, my ratio is 4:1 and my release time varies depending on how compressed i want my signal (this is a to taste part for me) and the fast attack button is pressed in.
At this time i now move on to setting the output to a more reasonable level (all green and sometimes tapping the yellow) which requires me turning the volume part of the plugin up about 5db. Now before any of this I use the input knob to get my signal to the same area of volume like my output (in the green strong or lightly tapping the yellow). This ensures me my signal is nice tight and strong across the board. Also don't forget to check what your doing with the music playing so your always making your decisions against what your actually going to be listening to on the final steps of your mixdown. My next steps are more taste based as they require you to listen more intently to your eq adjustments. I love boosting in the very high end of eq like the 16khz area a few db while the music is playing to get that air mixing engineers talk about while cutting around 400hz to give the music and vocals a light feeling to them (not alot just a little bit to hear the difference when bypassed).

You're mixing skills are really improving. I listened to this on the flat KRK8's and it's tight... The vocals are in the pocket. I'm not feeling that snare thou... it's... hum.. I don't know I can't put my finger on it. It almost over takes the vocal track. I think it's just the snare sound for me.. at some points it sounds like it has over compression which makes it sound robotic.
