Critique my vocals

I've actually been trying it. Haven't done anything I'm happy with yet but I haven't given up.
 
Good sound! It's nice to hear some mistakes sometimes. It fits into your soulful style.

Your upper range is just fine (from your cover I Won't Give Up) though I wouldn't stay up there, or you need to use more support from your breath. The higher you go, the frailer it gets ..try to counteract that.
 
Thanks for the compliments and I totally agree. I have a bad tendency to tighten my throat when hitting higher notes. I've been working on this a lot lately and I hope by my next recording that upper register will sound better.
 
Hmm country twang, first I've heard that. I am in the south though so I'm sure some of that is bleeding through
 
Hey guys, I'm new here. I was wondering if anyone would give me feedback on my voice. It is so frustrating, I am on a block and if you know anything about singing, give me tips? Preferred on the channel. I am at a loss because Idk what to do anymore. D:
 
I thought this was really good! I actually enjoy hearing your voice and an acoustic much better than hearing all of the vocal effects, as you have a nice voice.
