This is a change from my usual music. I heard "Cripple Creek" today on the radio and said "I need to cover that". Well here it is. Its a little more rockier than "The Bands" version. Its rough, but it was kind of fun. Drums suck in parts. But for a quicky, I like it. Follow my soundclick link below. Let me know if you like . :)

Lol. Not bad dude. Drums sound pretty big. Those cymbals are out of control! :D

Guitars sound great. Sounds pretty fun. :)

Alot of double tracking them. Too much. Im not coordinated enough to do all that without double tracking. I listened to it with cans last night and it needs some of the tracks tweaked (volume,etc..). I get carried away at times. :)

Cool! Somebody else who does a cover of "Cripple Creek!" We've been playing that one for years (only 1 of 2 that our bass player sings) and it's always fun. We tend to play it a little rockier, we put a southern rock twist into it. Your version is good too. (I like it.) Other than some obvious tweaking (mostly volume adjustments for a little better balance) it's not a bad recording at all. Everything seems to have it's space to sit in. For what it's worth, I like the voice better than the original, you might want to bring up the background vocals just a little. I also like the fact that you did not try to sound exactly like the original, close enough but not exact, that shows originality.

I did three background vocals. One is really low voice, one medium and one high. They are by them self quite funny. Thanks for the comments. I do need to automate some of the track volumes and apply them.
