Hello everyone. I have a huge problem. I tried everything i could think of yet i havent any solutions to this.
I have an electric drum. Two days ago i bought an m-audio m-track so i can use some vsti like ezdrummer. I already had reaper and ezdrummer. Everything works great but the problem makes it unplayable. So the problem is when i play regularly it goes crazy and makes sounds for a half second. And it is way louder than me playing. It literally hurts my ears. It happens like every 1-2 minutes, sometimes it happens more often, sometimes not that often.

This is the sound im talking about ( Delete spaces )

So far I have tried diffrent velocity settings, diffrent ezdrummer expansion, diffrent vsti(addictive drums), diffrent daw(ableton live)and checked basic stuff like cables etc.

I really have no idea what is the source of this. I just want a solution and I hope you guys can help me out.

I think it's more something to do with your ASIO settings.....

Ask the Reaper guys in the Digital forum.

It could be the buffers or the card driver.....but that sounds like the system is having trouble with playback....like it lags for a second, then you get a bunch of hits all at once.

I've run into that once beofore, but can't recall what it was exactly, though in the end it was a simple fix....I don't remember spending a lot of time making it work. It's one of those "DUH!" kind of things.....

But I have tried it with Ableton too did the same thing there aswell
