Is that a solid cardboard top, or a laminate cardboard top?

And I'm assuming that's a graphite-reinforced paper towel tube.

Dig the tuners.

I'll bet it sounds 'boxy', though. :D
 
Ok so should I start a new thread in the DIY section then?

I have some parts collected here and there and a few more things should be coming my way sooner or later...

I have wood for the body and plenty of metal for the bridge/tailpiece I also have tuners stored away someplace as well, I gotta land the electronics and I am planning to buy the neck from Guitar Fetish in the coming weeks.
