well i guess it could be worse but i dunno....either way it was my first recording effort and im sure it will not be my last. haha! i had an absolute blast with this thing but i think i rushed my recording a bit (im a guitar player not a drummer).......it took me an hour to do this! im a little off with parts sometime but ill get better anways...

recorded using les paul--line 6 pod (3 trax)
yahmaha bass-pod
pearl drums recorded with one marshall electronics 990 condenser through an art preamp placed 10-15 feet directly in front of the set

i used the bright mastering effect but the more i listen the more i wish i hadnt

enough of my crap....lets hear yours

thanks

Excellent! Best I've heard yet! (what happened at the end?)

Thanks a ton!!!....ummm im still not clear on deleting files to make more room on the card, but when i was converting to .wav it said out of space. I think the total time on the song was 2:57 and i only used 5 tracks so im pretty sure i had more time.. im pissed cause my best playing seemed to come at the end.

im working on a 2nd version of this song that ill edit in pro tools and add vox...that will be a full version

Nice guitar sound. There's nothing like a Les Paul for that kind of crunch. Keep up the good work.

I really like it. Finally a live drum set recirded on the MR-8. Do you have an extra mic to put on the Kick?

I liked the sound, cant wait to hear the lyrics. Only one nitpick.....I think your B string was just a touch flat. Keep it up man and keep em comin!

Nice record bigsnake00 ,Hope you dont mind if I add it to my collection.Mabe someday you will let me here the ending.{ha ha}.. Do you really have a room with a drum kit? I had a room with a drum kit once, when I was in my twenties. Now Im married. My new room is very small.Keep on Truckin.....Earl

Thanks for the positive feedback.....yes i do have a basement just for instruments..haha. as far as drum mics go i have 3 '57s and the sure bass drum mic (im not too sure what its called) so i do have the ability to get a better sound, i just wanted to see what i could get with that condenser.

haha the b string on that guitar is my worst enemy....

ill work some more this weekend ...

untill then
