Why do you skip over 24 bit? 32 bit is useless half the time and 16 bit sucks.

Cool Edit only has 32bit or 16bit depth selections only. (no actual 24 bit selection box).
32bit will give you the same 'practical' results as 24 bit, within CoolEdit.
