hah...you ain't gonna get one around here.

just pay for it...its like...cheap. and good. well worth the money.

Give me a break, comet. If you can't afford $40, you don't need to be recording music. The man who programs and provides N-Track is a class act and deserves to be paid for his work.

stealing

how would you like it if you worked for months on a song, and someone else stole it, published it and it became a hit

stealing is stealing

Anyone know where I can get a crack for N-Track?
Sure, just list all your gear, along with your address and when you work and I'll drop it off to you...............

I can fully understand why some people steal proggies that cost $700, but I don't really understand doing it on a $40 program. Funny thing is...I have tried versions of other more expensive recording software to compare them to N-track, and always end up liking the N-track better. $700 for ANY home consumer software is highway robbery (and N-Track proves that), and anybody that markets something at that price should expect theft (reap what you sow) but $40 bucks.....pay it, tightass.

P.S. I did an extensive search for cracks for the major recording proggies. I found one for Sonar, Cubebass, and a few others that I feel are over priced a bit just about everywhere I looked....however.....no N-track. Funny, when people don't feel they are getting ripped off, they don't want to promote stealing as much...

Comet, your ettiquette shocks me! (jk)

It really is worth the 40$ though, and that guy does deserve to be paid. Free upgrades, a support forum, he has even personally responded to a few emails regarding problems I was experiencing (operator induced problems I must add).

It's well worth the 40$. There is also an upgrade to 24bit that is very inexpensive...

pirates

someone is tryng to pirate the registration codes from n track , emailing me asking for the codes, i do not help people pirate software, i dont want anyone stealing my music, i dont steal there software......

I can't believe you're serious! It's OK to steal $700 software? No one really believes that, do they?

How is it more OK to steal one thing than it is another? If the writer feels their product is worth $700, either pay it or don't. But trying to justify stealing is just wrong. It's still stealing.

Amazing...

I love it when kids scream "I ain't got no money to start recording!"

But a basic SM-57 mic costs 125% more than N-Track
A 24-bit audio card costs >200% more
A basic electric guitar will cost them >300% more
(I won't tell you how much more than N-Track my saxes and keyboards and guitars are worth, let along my rack gear.

Tell 'em to get a different hobby. I understand folding paper airplanes is cheap.

Were is the report to moderator button ?

I think it's that liitle red triangle by the scales in upper right of a post. I haven't been here long enought to feel comfortable reporting something. But it seems to me like if that crack is for real the guy oughta get tossed. Down a flight of stairs, and then out of here.
