Hey David,

I dig on your sound. Got the lead git and vocal thang goin' on!

Not a big fan of the snare though. I hear a crisper snare in my little head.

Some backup vox refrain thang would be cool on the " I remember" chorus

Maybe a straight forward acoustic strumming git on the right would help the rhythm section.

Maybe even try uping the tempo (not needed, just a stray and soon to be killed thought:) )

Cool tune. Sounds fun to play.

Peace,

Theron.

Okay, I read a couple of the comments, (not all), and I officially disagree with anybody who has a problem with any of the guitar tones. Frankly, I'm kinda' shocked at Lt. Bob's response, b/c I usually agree with just about everything he says.

THIS SOUNDS GREAT ON MY END. Seriously. Man, your voice reminds me of about 3 British singers that I just love.

Okay, MAYBE the lead tone (first one) is a bit on the blurry side, but I think it works. Hell, I think all the guits sound great.

AM I GOING DEAF? I HOPE SO, AS LONG AS IT MAKES EVERYTHING SOUND THIS COOL!!!

Have a great weekend.

theron, thanks man. I agree with all you said. Tempo did use to be somewhat faster, but I couldn't spit the words out fast enough:D . Thanks!

chrisharris, hey if you would of heard the first version...Steve hit it right on the money belive me. I mean I know this is terrible at best but that first one I put up there...uh lets just say it wasn't pretty. Thanks man, have good one!

Great tune David! I noticed a few small timing issues but I believe they add to the relaxed atmosphere of the song. Great vocals man and the guitar work is cool too!

Just listened, twice. I like, it but am also not too crazy about the guit. tone. It sounds like you are trying to simulate a real steel/slide sort of tone, which I really like for country. But less distortion would be the only change I would make if you were targeting country. That and a root/fifth bass would put you in a cowboy hat.

Overall nice job.
I hope I don't sound too critical. That may already be the sound you're after.

Joe

Nice recording. This has a very contemporary country sound. I like it.
The vocal needs a limiter in my opinion, and a tad less volume.

No real complaints, good job.

Pretty cool. It seems to drag just a touch at that tempo. If it was slightly faster it might groove a little better.

Thumbs up.

Have to agree with some of the other comments that I didn't care a lot for the tone of the git, and there is a tad too much distortion in the intro, but the playing is right nice. And your vocal is perfect for the song. Very fine job.
