I put up some of my material I've done solely on n-track onto soundclick.com. This is my first full solo effort playing all instruments with the exception of one song and I don't have anyone locally that's internet/streaming mp3-centric enough to trust to turn to at the time for critique. Could y'all take a good honest listen through any or all of the pretty short instrumental and full songs and tell me if anything sounds really horrible or out of place enough to make you want to claw your eyes out? I mixed all this stuff on headphones and I don't have anything really close to "true" to reference it against except my Ford stock car stereo that adds a limiter to my stuff when I play it on CD full volume like it does my other CDs.
Hopefully someone here is also "into" this niche of music. I put out the same call on Fasoft's music post board but they've told me before that most of them aren't into the "heavier" music like I am enough to critique. I thought my stuff was kinda tame in comparision with national acts selling millions of cd's right now...anywhoo.....
Now I know that 128kb MP3s are really hard to judge as far as technical clarity and definition goes but for mass streaming is the stuff okay or should I go back to the console for more tweaking?

. The first lead guitar is a bit lost too, I'd say bring that up a bit as well. Overall though I really liked it tho. I will refrain from making further comments as my ear is relatively untrained (plus I shouldn't comment on something thats not posted in the clinic
). As well, maybe it's good to let people know what you used to record with...maybe
