i used one along with 31 band eq's and all, but now i mix on computer, a compresor can be a great tool, is their anything built into your daw that works as a compresor????

there is a compresser but only for like 2 channels and master

my outboard compressor is only two channels also, they do have some that are four though

cant you find a way to use the built in comp

theres only 2 channels of compression on my recorder and a master compression
im ask if its worth getting an outboard compresser

Yes! get one. Outboard compressors can impart a lot of magic if used correctly, and they are of good quality.

Vocals, Acoustic, Drums, Bass can all benefit. Try and get one with a built in limiter too, especially if you do a lot of solo recording.

If you go the pc mixdown route try endorphin. It is a great compressor.
