Anything by B.L.U.E. The Dragonfly is both cool and affordable.

BLUE stuff is really cool looking. But I don't really care how it looks, as long as it sounds good.

that Shure vintage looking mic is cool looking too.

Darnold: sadly they are in practice hidden behind a very uninspiring screen. I once could buy one second hand, but waited to long. It still hurts whenever I see one.

that 3d imagine mic looks pretty damn amazing...i'll vote for that.

who makes it?

Is it not true that the B.L.U.E mic visual design is similar to the original Neuman design. I think I saw that somewhere. If so, then the accolades being showered upon B.L.U.E. should be for Neuman's original mics.

Yup, Dragonfly all the way. The nice thing about BLUE mics is that the sound is just as impressive as the looks.

Someone a long time ago posted a link to a mic made out of a maglite flashlight and it was pretty cool looking. But unfortunately the site isn't up any more... :(

I also like the looks of the SE Electronics SE5000, too bad it doesn't sound as good as it looks.

I like the rugged classic lines of the Sennheiser MD421, but I hear that it sounds pretty good, too...

Those American ribbons are some of my favorite mics looking too. Although, a few people who have them on this and other forums have told me that they are only OK sonically!

And then there's this one . . .

It's called "The bird feeder," brought to you by the wood shop class of Newberry High in South Carolina . . .

That has to be the stupidest looking mic as well as a half-assed concept. Who makes this turd?
