For Sonar? Hmmmm....Pingers? I dunno. How about us folks who use Vegas. We could be Vegans (even though I'm a carnivore).

what's a Pinger? and why do i once again feel like I'm the only kid in Calculus that doesn't know what's going on... damn AP classes... it's been 15 years since high school and that teacher still gives me acid reflux.

In submarine language, SONAR is an acronym for:
SOund NAvigation Ranging

Basically, a submarine sends out an acoustic pulse into the water that bounces off other objects and returns, thus enabling it to detect the location and range of other objects underwater like the sea floor, rocks, other subs, etc. The acoustic pulse is called a "ping" becase that's what it sounds like.

Thus Cakewalk's slogan for SONAR: "Get Deep".

Just watch "The Hunt for Red Oktober" or "U571" sometime. I personally recommend "U571" because you get to see Jon Bon Jovi die. :D

I kinda like U571.

I'm using U571 to do all my tracking. Kinda has that Alsihad mystery to it.
