Well, I wouldnt say Brad was one of Ozzy's guitarists...he did the fill in thing to finish out the tour, but he was still with Night Ranger.....

Tony Iommi....damn good guitarist, but he cant touch Zakk,Jake, or Randy.....and there was a guy before Brad that did the fill in thing, and almost died of stage fright.......

Bernie Torme....yep that was him....then Brad Gillis.....

and technically, Iommi was a Black Sabbath guitarist, not an Ozzy guitarist.....but who gets technical........

So I'm a bit late on the Frampton references, but anybody have a clue why he would decide to locate himself in Cincinnatti?

Are you getting technical with me Gidge?

I'd only count Gillis because he was the guitarist on Speak of the Devil. Albeit it was a live album. However, then I'd have to count the guitarist that filled in for Zakk on the most recent live album.

Regarding Frampton:

No clue Queue.
(I just wanted to say that).

Technical?...no Im just trying to be an asshole:D

I used to jam in my bedroom to the Ozzy/Randy Tribute album...do I count as an Ozzy guitarist:rolleyes: ;) :p :D

good site gidge!!!, lol yeah jamin' to tribute is really fun eh!!!......hey i bet (even though he doesn't have the new heavy sound or isn't young ) that ozzy and ritchie blackmore could write great together, it would probably bring the classic qualities out of both of them,,,,,don't mind my statement of ritchie not being heavy,,,,,,i meant, just listen to mean streak off of perfect strangers album,,,,good n heavy, just not a nowadays tone, i love ritchies sound but also the nowadays heavy sound that say creed song my sacrifice......i guess that's what u dudes r sayin'....an amalgamation
tis the thing!!!!! peace.

Wow, I am soooo glad I came in here. That is one killer site Gidge, thanx a TON!!!! :) :)

Hey, isn't it about time for your weekly spammin'? :D

Also is there a pause/rewind button somewhere on there so you can practice, I don't seem to have any buttons, or do you just have to let it play? I'm using Media Player 7.1.

Yep, thanks for the reminder Tek-dude......

i dont know of any way to rewind and all that, which is really frustrating...but if i know about where it is, there is usually the sections of the lesson listed to the left of the screen and clicking on it will bring you to that part.....

there are some mp3/wav files that you can download

http://www.digevent.com/events/consumer/music/guitar_mania/archives.asp
go here and click on downloads...unfortunately its not really updated.....

Yes I found it, if you just click on the screen you can pause it or play it. Then if you right click on the screen and go to navigate there is a rewind and a fast forward option there. That definitly makes things alot easier. :)

Hey Gidge, question for ya.....

Do you know of a way to save those archives to you HD? Someone over on the Guitar Mania message board said that he used ASFRecorder to do it, but appearently it only works with MediaPlayer v6.4 (and I've got v7.1 :(). So do you know of any other programs like the ASFRecorder that would work?

I figured that since you have a link for everything, this should be a piece of cake. :D
