Hi! My name is Fred C. Adams. I'm a newbie home recorderist(?). I am guitar and simple synth/keyboard player. I am looking for instruction, tips and advice. Thanks! Oh... I have a Tascam DP-003 6 track digital recorder.

Welcome to the mad house Fred. I hope you enjoy your stay.

'cause you can checkout anytime you like.. But you can never..'

Basic advice: no matter how much recording studio equipment you have you will always want more, so start saving cash!

ah, the joys of gear lust! i'm very happy with all of my gear at the moment and still spend hours lusting over mic's, preamps, outboard EQ, compressors......

and welcome to the board Finewest. my advice; take most things with a pinch of salt :)

YOu should sell that Tascam for about a million bucks and hire a studio.... all the other similar devices have 8 tracks, but you've got an odd one with 6. Must be worth a fortune... :)

I'm going to use an overrated, and overused internet laughter: Buwahhhhhahahahahahah!

I thought we'd universally agreed on talcum powder?:(

dag nam it, i thought we'd decided that cinnamon was the seasoning of choice. everyone told me it was amazing, and the reviews and taste tests i did were very positive, but then it brought some and found that it was really good in apple pie but made my scrambled eggs taste like crap :p
