Hi everyone,

I have a computer that has Cool Edit Pro 2.1, and it is hooked up to a Eurodesk mixer model # MX3282A, but all of the sudden I am not receiving input from the mixer to the computer. My computer is an HP Pavillion with Windows XP Professional Edition. I am using a 1/8 inch stereo to RCA cable. I have the RCA cables plugged into the Tape out on the mixer, and coming from the line in on the computer. I even checked the volume on the computer's sound card, and the auxilliary volume, and I am still not receiving a signal from the mixer to the computer. I have the output working fine. I have a 1/8 inch mono cable to RCA plugged in with a Y cable adapter to the channel. Is there anything else I can do? I hope I receive any replies soon. I would greatly appreciate it.

Down in the Taskbar, at the far bottom right of it, is a speaker icon. when you double click that you will see your volume control panel with all the available volume settings. Now, if you click on the Options menu, then click properties you will see Playback, Recording & Others. Click on the recording radio-button and make sure that Line-In is ticked. then Apply and click ok.

Thank you very much for responding. I will try this today, and will tell you of my results.

Best Regards
