Howdy,

I need an inexpensive way to master my Cakewalk HS2002 mixes. Both of these run about $70. Any recommendations?

I prefer soundforge over Cp even though I use both{2 are better than 1}

Software choice is SOOO subjective. What I love, you may think is trash and vice-versa.

Download demos if you can and try them out yourself.

(You should also check out Audacity at http://audacity.sourceforge.net It's FREE, cross platform and a good editor.)

Definitely Soundforge.

It's not even a contest. Cool Edit is good for tracking, mixing and editing. Not flexible enough for mastering.

Actually, if you can get your hands on Vegas, you've got the whole deal.
