Converting Two Balanced Mono Signals to One Unbalanced Stereo

What a mouthful.

My new headphone amp (Pre Sonus HP60) has an unbalanced TRS stereo input for each channel. My DAW (MOTU HD192) outputs are XLR balanced (mono). It would be cool to use the CueMix software to create multiple distinct headphone mixes.

I'm looking for a cheap device that will convert two balanced mono (XLR) signals to one unbalanced stereo (TRS) signal.

Rack mounted preferred. I need to mix 10 balanced lines down to 5 stereo lines.

You can get xlr-tr cables. Then get a mono >stereo y- adapter and Bob's your uncle! Here's a couple of pictures of what I'm talking about.

Your right. Once I sketched it out, it is as simple as building an adapter cable - no circuitry needed.
