I have Cool Edit Pro on my PC & i also have a Yamaha MD4s (mini disc mulitrack),I have a 15 pin/Midi cable connected to the Joystick Port of my soundcard on my computer to the Midi out of my MD4s. How do i set it up so that i can control the Transport functions (play,stop etc.)of my Software with the Buttons of my MD4s. In the Cool Edit manual it says this can be done using SMPTE/MTC or whatever. The MD4s is capable of sending MTC and Midi Clock blah blah blah. But the cooledit manual says you have to set a offset time and have it set up to recive MTC so it can Sync up. Ive done all they have said and it still doesnt work. Somone help Please
