I need some help deciding what to get for a low budget control surface that I would use for Cubase SX3. Ideally I would like 16 tracks, but I plan on just buying 2 8 track control surfaces.

I've looked at a bunch of different surfaces and want to know if any of you have had any experience with these:

Behringer BCF2000 - $200
Novation ReMOTE ZeRO SL - $300
Evolution UC33e MIDI Control Surface - $200

I'm leaning toward the Behringer, but it looks like the remote zero has been getting good reviews. Any help? Thanks!

neither of those you mentioned would help him out, as they only control a single channel at a time. i'm with the OP, in that i would want control of at least 16 tracks at a time with a control surface, as it would mostly be used for fader and pan adjustments.

i've been wanting either a tascam US-2400 or mackie MCU, but i might just opt for 2 of the behri units...they're sort of ugly, and seem to lack some of the features of the others - but like i said, i really only want a CS so that i can enable automation, hit play, then sit back and ride the faders on playback to determine the final mix.

Thats pretty much exactly what I'm looking for. I can't see a good reason to spend an additional $500 more than both the behringers cost to get something that has a heavier fader feel to it...

Has anyone in here tried any of those CS out???
