I did run a search on this and didn't see this exactly but if its already on here just redirect me...
Right now I'm using a Mackie Universal Control with my pro tools setup and I'm not too happy with it. There are constant problems with the display banks not showing the correct tracks for the session, the dead master fader, ect. ect. I looked over the Mackie forums and see that this is an inherent problem with the interface and protools. My question is: does the Tascam USB 24 or the FW-1884 have the same protocol problems with protools?
And does the Mixed Logic M-24 have similar problems?
I wouldn't mind switching to one of the devices, especially the Mixed Logic if they work seamlessly, but if its the same problem than its not worth it, I'll just wait until I can get a Control 24. Of course, that might be the way to go anyway.
