Some tubbiness missing in the skinss...a sound in all your other records that i've envied and enjoyed...and a lot lighter in the bottom, generally....the hot top end is all the rage...cool.

But most of all, I wish you'd made a youtube vid of yourself struttin' and poutin' like Mick while you sang...I know you did. Got the character of his thing very down...and y' gotta move like him to get it right.

Another doesn't-suck-a-lot project. Different. Guess yer evolving..:^)

Must remind myself to remove the headset from my ears next time I hit play on one of your tunes. Felt like a sawblade tearing through my head. I a good way....

Lol. Thanks dude. I don't know about strutting. I just stand there like a retard. ;)

I'm not clear on the "tubbiness" missing from the drums. Explain please so I can fix that, if it's a bad thing.

I every tune of yours I've listened to before this one, the toms, in particular, had a depth, ring and impact that this one seems to lack. It was like I had my ear next to the tom, and I could feel the air hitting the side of my face from the hole. It was a really grabbing sound. I could hear the skin detuning , and moving back with each hit. Maybe in this one, it's just that the whole kit is behind the mix more? The usual presence of the thuddery is different, distant. If all things are the same, it's just backer in the mix, I guess....It's a nice piece of work, but not the trademark drum sound I was expecting, and have come to really enjoy. It's a minor thing. My preference, only. The old boomboom made me moister....

Ahhh yes, thanks. I get it. I used more reverb on this song than I usually do and the fills are sort of fast so I couldn't whack em as hard which may be where the fullnes has gone. I do get what you're saying and thanks for the input. Maybe it's something I can fix in the mix.
