After much internet trawling I haven't seen a conclusive answer to this.
The two bits of equipment I have are. A Yamaha MG16/4 mixer and a creative labs Audigy 2 ZS platinum. I'm looking to connect these two for some basic folley recording, my idea was to connect the rec out from the mixer to the aux in on the front of the sound card, this seemed simple but i don't seem to be able to get any sound through to the PC. I'm reasonably sure this is something in the windows setup that i haven't done right, but am still very stumped and would like advice from anyone who thinks they can help
